Annett Renneberg, born on March 16, 1978, in Rudolstadt, East Germany, is a German actress and singer. She moved to East Berlin at the age of two, where she pursued education in singing, piano, and accordion, initially aspiring to become an opera singer. Her acting career began in 1991 with a lead role in "Die Brut der schönen Seele," followed by a notable performance in "Maja" (1995), which earned her a Telestar nomination. After completing high school in 1997, Renneberg was offered a role by director Peter Zadek in "Rise and Fall of the City of Mahagonny" at the Salzburg Festival, marking her entry into theater. She has since appeared in over 50 film and television productions, including portraying Signorina Elettra Zorzi in the adaptations of Donna Leon's Commissario Brunetti novels. From 2009 to 2011, she played Senior Commissioner Catharina Brandt in "Stolberg." Beyond acting, Renneberg performs her own stage programs, showcasing her talents in singing and recitation. Since 2014, she has resided in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
